Back home in California

 I left my life behind in the Philippines and came back to reality here in California. I’ve been home for a week now and I’m currently sitting in W. Hollywood at friends house updating information. I had a casting today for a commercial and I was a bit nervous as I haven’t done a casting in six months. Not to mention all my clothes were boxed up in storage, I’m still wearing the same clothes I wore out there (LOL). It was a typical LA casting, and tomorrow is another. I’d like to think I’ve surpassed the transitional period of my arrival since it’s been a week already, give me until the end of the week.
Film - Please check out the short film I did directed by Sunny Ray called “Some Salt.” It’s shot in black and white, very artistic, we shot in Cebu, had a great crew, I’m glad I had the opportunity to do this so thank you Sunny.
Travel Blog - I know I have facebook, but I encourage you to check out my shutterfly site www.desireesadventures.shutterfly.com. I try to write about my adventures as much as I can for a couple reasons that may not matter to anyone, but it matters to me. I write because it’s something I’ve always done even as a kid, I love it, I’m passionate about documenting episodes, I’m too detailed and drawn out, this I know as well. Also, the other reason I write and blog is for inspiration granted upon someone. If it inspires you in anyway to go somewhere or do something or just to read for entertainment, then I’m stoked. I also love hearing other peoples adventures, please don’t hesitate to share some fun times on the shutterfly.

Gallery - My gallery has been updated recently and I did put up some more black and white shots. I also got the chance to work with a great photographer in the Philippines by the name of Jon Unson, awesome guy! Our shoot consisted of trance music, a python, a fan, inspiration from Helmut Newton, a studio tucked away in Cebu, and it  being a spontaneous shoot that turned out successful. www.jonunson.com
